Augustine Udo – President, CEO and Founder
Gus Udo founded IAT in June 1988. He was formerly with Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc., New York, where he devised and executed financial and industry analyses for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and public underwritings. Gus worked in general industrial finance, FIGs and Lehman’s Loan Transactions Group in the development of various emerging markets’ debt products. Gus has extensive structured finance experience and has created a number of innovative financial products that have become market-standard, e.g., the CBN U.S. Note Dollar Depositary Receipts and the B-Strips. He was also a pioneer in the use of derivative, e.g., zero cost collars for yield enhancement and the hedging of emerging market bond portfolios. He completed one of the first cross-border securitizations in France for FF1.1 billion of trade receivables in 1995. Gus is an A.B. graduate of Harvard College and received his Msc. degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
